BUENOS AIRES
2010 - 2024
Welcome to my hometown, Buenos Aires, the fourth most populous metropolitan area in the Americas after São Paulo, Mexico City and New York. Buenos Aires, commonly referred to as the “Paris of South America,” is known for its eclectic European architecture, cosmopolitan atmosphere and rich cultural life, the result of various immigration waves from all over the world across centuries. I have very fond memories from my hometown, which saw me grow up through three different periods of my life: as a newborn, as a child and as a young adult. Each period has had a different impact in my life, and having lived abroad for so many years has made me appreciate this place more and more. Heading back home and reconnecting with my people always makes my heart burst in joy. I can’t wait to be back to drink mate, eat empanadas, dance tango, walk through its cobblestone streets and wide avenues embellished with jacaranda trees, and enjoy its lively nightlife venues and cafés.
