JOSHUA TREE

2017 - 2019

The Joshua tree is a plant species endemic mostly to the Mojave Desert, and protected in the national park that's named after it. Joshua Tree National Park is where two distinct desert ecosystems—the Mojave and the Colorado—come together, a world with unique geologic features. Its landscapes are dominated by gigantic boulders—sculpted by the forces of nature and popular among rock climbing enthusiasts—and the fascinating yucca palms, along with a wide variety of native plants and animals.
